The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released Tuesday an artistic rendering of the Singapore Temple.
This temple was first announced during the April 2021 general conference by Church President Russell M. Nelson. It will be built on a one-acre site located at 233 Pasir Panjang Road in Singapore. Plans call for a two-story temple of approximately 18,000 square feet. A meetinghouse with an arrival center will be constructed adjacent to the temple.
Latter-day Saints consider temples to be their most sacred places of worship. The primary purposes of temples are to help members better understand the purpose of life, encourage them to be more faithful, generous, and kind and give them strength to meet challenges in life.
