This is President Nelson’s 22nd time speaking at BYU. He first spoke there in 1974 when he was the Church’s Sunday School General President. His most recent talk at BYU was in August 2015, when he invited graduates at summer commencement to “develop the spiritual attributes of faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, godliness, charity, humility, and diligence.”
