Your preparation of yourself will bless the members of your family.” He urged Latter-day Saints in Cambodia to understand the temple recommend interview questions and become worthy to hold a temple recommend. “I am very optimistic about the future of Cambodia,” the prophet said as he concluded his remarks.

Cambodia is home to more than 15,000 Latter-day Saints and approximately 30 congregations. Newsroom will have coverage of the groundbreaking ceremony.

Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints differ from meetinghouses or chapels where members meet for Sunday worship services. Each temple is considered a “house of the Lord” where Jesus Christ’s teachings are reaffirmed through baptism and other ordinances that unite families for eternity. In the temple, Church members learn more about the purpose of life and make covenants to follow Jesus Christ and serve their fellow man.
